◾️IT’S A PEACE OF CAKE ( 10XL ) VS IT’S A PEACE OF CAKE ( 10XL )

The idea came from "It's a piece of cake", where "piece" is substituted with "peace".
I was inspired by the traditional pancake at the night market in Taiwan which came in different shapes-pistols, pigeons, and so on-packed in the same paper bag, I suddenly realized that it was a microcosm of the world. When I ate the pancake, it was as if I was taking the whole world into my body.
The act of eating is bringing it into the body. Whether it is peace (pigeons) or war (pistols), when we eat, we absorb these contradicting parts and let them enter our cells as nutrients, until eventually we become a bag of contradictions.
從It’s a piece of cake 發想。把piece置換成peace。靈感來自於雞蛋糕，看到手槍、鴿子、等各種不同形狀的雞蛋糕，被裝在同一個袋子中，我頓時覺得，那模樣彷彿是這世界的縮影，吃雞蛋糕時，就彷彿把整個世界融入在身體裡。吃的行為就是將它帶入自己的體內。 和平（鴿子）也好，戰爭（手槍），吃進肚子裡，我們吸收了這些矛盾，讓它們滲入細胞成為養分，日積月累，我們也終將成為一個矛盾的綜合體。
「IT’S A PEACE OF CAKE 」は、英語の「Itʼs a piece of cake」（楽勝、朝飯前）の《piece》を平和の《peace》に置き換えた造語です。私が台湾で最初に住んだ家は夜市の隣で、そこで見かけたのが、鳩や銃、バイクや豚、象、鶏など、さまざまな形をした雞蛋糕（エッグケーキ）を同じ袋に詰めて売っている光景でした。この光景が、私の台湾での制作のアイデアのきっかけとなりました。袋の中身はまるで、この世界の縮図のように感じられました。雞蛋糕を食べるという行為は、まるで世界全体を自分の体に取り込むような感覚でした。平和（鳩）も戦争（銃）も、それらを食べることで、私たちはその矛盾や思想を吸収し、それが細胞に染み込み、栄養となり、積み重なっていく。最終的には、私たち自身が矛盾の集合体になっていくのではないかと感じています。
